| DENISE DOUGLAS - JABJ V.P. of BROADCAST
Denise has been involved with the local chapters of NABJ since she graduated from the University of Maryland back in the 90's. She is excited about bringing that experience as well as her professional skills in television to JABJ.
Denise is a reporter at CBS 47. Prior to moving down south to Florida she was working in State College,Pennsylvania for WJAC-TV where she covered everything
from breaking news stories to human interest and investigative pieces.
Denise also worked as a producer for Black Entertainment Television, spearheading the network’s coverage from Washington, DC on issues that impact
African Americans. She also produced coverage for C-SPAN on such events as Y2K, the Florida
presidential election re-count and the September 11th terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center.
She started her career in broadcasting as a reporter at KNDU-TV in Washington State.
Denise is from Maryland, and graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. She is currently working on a
master’s degree in public relations.
